Buildings and trees were ripped from their cores and trampled by titanic feet,
Bound by wind and rain
The result of such hellish destruction was nothing but sorrow and pain.
Beauty was lost, order was torn
The successful and triumphant were left forlorn.
While the reaches of the storm were ravaged and paralyzed in fright,
The Eye of the Storm was motionless, silent, graced by light.
The Eye was a paradise, its water still, its sand undisturbed,
And the monstrous storm world was too far to be heard.
In here, peace and serenity could once more be found,
So the Eye of the Storm would soon be crowned.
Sufferers of stress felt the storm’s might in their hearts,
So humanity's response was quite a work of art.
Passion, Zeal, Devotion as it came to be known,
Was a solution to the gusts of horrid wind that had blown.
Modeled after the eye, passion of the beloved gave tranquility,
And thus, the drive to pursue what we love gave us stability.
