Georgetown University is 2,622 miles and 39 hours by car from our home in Murrieta, California. But startng today, it is home to Isaiah for the next nine days. Isaiah has the opportunity to participate in the National Student Leadership Conferece for International Deplomacy at Georgetown University, Washington, DC!
Our trip started like a repeat of the move "Trains, Planes, and Autombiles" as we grappled with barrier after barier during our travel from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Washington DC. But when we got here it was evident that Isaiah is with "his people". He took pictures of almost every building that amazed him, even the library. Isaiah's people are the ones who are well dressed, professional, ambitions. Here, in Georgetown, Isaiah is surrounded by style, art, culture, music, theater, and history. This is definitely his happy place.
